Material composition. Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is made of 64% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, 21% Thermoplastic Rubber, 4% Polyurethane, 3% Cotton, 3% Polyester, and 5% Other materials.

Recyclability. 88% of the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is able to be recycled, with 12% diverted as unrecyclable waste.

Repairability. The metal grommets can be replaced using standard techniques at shoe repair shops using Flash-produced grommets (part no. 3BS41T). Replacement laces can also be ordered (part no. 4W7PE2).

Resource consumption. On average, one pair of Flash Series 2 Skate Shoes consumes 1.41 kWh of electricity, and 7.22 gallons of water, a decrease of 7% and 3% from the previous year's measurements, respectively.

Carbon footprint. On average, one pair of Flash Series 2 Skate Shoes produces 13.23 kg of carbon emissions. We remove an equal amount of emissions from the atmosphere using Direct Air Capture for each shoe produced.

Fair labor certification. We've engaged Supplier Monitoring, Inc. to conduct compliance audits of our Vietnam and Cambodia factories and associated suppliers in the areas of health and safety, wage and benefits, working hours, and environmental compliance. 98% of our suppliers had no violations within the past year, with the resulting 2% with 1-2 minor violations. We instituted corrective action plans to remedy the minor violations.

Materials origin. 100% of the cotton used in the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is certified organic cotton, grown without fossil fuel-based pesticides or artificial fertilizers. 100% of the polyester in the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is from recycled plastic bottles that have been converted to pellets and then made into yarn.

Durability. The average useful lifetime of the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is 5.2 years, an improvement of 11%.

Presence of substances of concern. Fashion Point has engaged Green Auditors Ltd. to analyze the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe. Based on their findings, the Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe has received the Gold Certification, indicating no harmful chemicals, toxins, or substances of concern.

Waste production. On average, one pair of Flash Series 2 Skate Shoes produces 0.034 lbs of undivertable waste in our Cambodian and Vietnamese factories.

Country of manufacture. The Flash Series 2 Skate Shoe is manufactured in Vietnam and Cambodia.
